Haelsoft sets to upskill 400 MSMEs in digital marketing skills ; Trains 400 businesses in Edo state
Haelsoft, a leading technology training and consultation firm, is set to train over 400 Micro, Small And Medium-Sized Enterprise (MSMEs) in relevant digital marketing skills to boost productivity and achieve sustainable growth, even in the post-COVID-19 economy.
In line with the firm’s vision, the journey has begun with the tutoring of over 400 MSMEs in Edo state.
Founder of Haelsoft, Ezeadichie Michael, said the digital marketing courses would assist businesses to align with the new normal, retain and expand their client base, and deliver tailor-made services to new and existing customers.
He added that more than before, technology is a leveraging tool for businesses to optimize their processes, maximize sales and ensure that customers’ service is top-notch.
Opeyemi Oluleye, Head of Marketing And Commutation Haelsoft Digital said: “Participants will be exposed to topics like Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay per Click Advertising (PPC), social media marketing and management, email marketing, mobile marketing, content marketing and digital copy writing, among others.”
Adding that need-based teaching approach will be adopted, he said: “Our curriculum will adopt an interactive learning approach where all activities are coordinated to ensure that participants comprehends, and can easily integrate the marketing concepts to their respective businesses – even before the end of the training.”
According to Ezeadichie Michael, the 400 businesses would be randomly selected from different senatorial district (regions) Edo South, Edo North and Edo Central in the state to ensure equal participation.
Head of Edo State Investment Promotion Office (ESIPO), Kelvin Uwaibi, said the training, would help reposition the state as a business hub and empower businesses.
He said: “ESIPO in collaborating with the Edo State Skills Development Agency (EdoJobs), Ministry of Wealth Creation, Cooperatives and Employment and GIZ to facilitate the development of digital marketing prowess of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Edo state.”
“As a government, we want to act as an enabler to enhance the capacity of businesses in Edo State. We need to help businesses survive the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to empower businesses to fully embrace digital transformation to improve their services and enable them stay afloat,” he added.
